Glooping Ooze Plush, Add-ons, Backerkit - Less than 24 hours to go!

Note: This is a prototype and the stitch coloring is not finalized. We're still tweaking little things! The Ooze is about 8 inches in diameter.

Glooping Ooze Plush

The glooping ooze is here to steal your heart (-shaped damage tokens)! We're going to do an accelerated unlock for the ooze just like we did for the playmat. If this post gets 500 total comments+likes*, the ooze will be unlocked as an add-on for $20. Since we're so close to the end of the campaign, you might be worried about getting your $20 added to your pledge before the end, which brings us to the next point...

*-the app doesn't let you like. A comment is just as good. Do both and count twice!

BackerKit + Add-ons

We're going to have a BackerKit for post-campaign pledge management. You'll be able to add any of the items we have in the addons list after the campaign ends (including the Ooze, if unlocked!). 

If you know for sure what you want, feel free to add to your pledge now. If you'd rather decide later, pledge at any level (even $1) and you'll be able to add to it later. 

Stores

Stores will be able to get both the plushie and the playmats at wholesale prices (Each will be MSRP $25), please contact us directly if interested!

We're going to adjust our stream schedule for the last days of the Kickstarter. We'll be running three more Twitch sessions.

Friday 5/12 (Tomorrow) - 8PM Eastern: We've got a couple bonus cards to reveal that we haven't talked about at all, and we'll play a hybrid base/forest game!

Monday 5/15 - 6PM Eastern: Start of the last 24 hours of the campaign! Join us as we start the countdown to the end (and play this Dungeon game you all like)

Tuesday 5/16 - 5PM Eastern: The last hour countdown! Anything could happen. Even...Tumbleseed.

$200K and Plushies

We're closing in on 200K, and we're working with the factory on a prototype of a certain Glooping Ooze plushie that we'd love to include as an add-on for the project. We hope to have more news on this front tomorrow or Saturday. 

Alchemist, Potions, and Ursa Miner: Bears Mining Honey!

The fifth hero was revealed on our stream last night: The Alchemist! We've updated the PnP to include her and all the changes below.

 The Alchemist fundamentally changes the way potions are handled when she's a member of the party. All potion tokens spent flow to her card, to be used again via Mix or Essence. She can also craft potions of her own! Overall, she's pretty awesome.

The print and plays have been updated with her, the new Turn Reference Card, and the Basic Potions. 

When you start a game of One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows, you'll be able to select one Basic Potion to tuck under the Turn Reference card. 

 These are more relevant because of the update to the Cure potion:

 The Cure potion no longer can be used on its own - instead, it activates any time a potion token is gained or spent (for 1 point of healing). 

Ursa Miner

Every year at Gen Con, we've hosted an event called the Secret New Games Preview, where we show off prototypes and host some friend-designers to show off theirs. For the past couple of years, our friends Eli and Mike have shared Ursa Miner with us and our room attendees. It's a really neat game and it launched on Kickstarter JUST NOW!

Playmat: Early Unlock Available

We've got good news, as we suspected + mentioned last week! We commissioned a beautiful playmat for One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows, with spaces all lined out for your adventures! The mat accommodates 1-2 players, sitting either next to each other or across a table (simply rotate the hero card area to sit across from each other. The mat is 24"x14", and it's been on display in paper form on our last few streams.

The playmat will come rolled-up inside a box (15"x2"x2") for each storage and shipping. It will be a $20 add-on, with no additional shipping charge. 

The playmat was illustrated by the talented Naomi Robinson. You can see more of her work on her website, twitter, and instagram. She might have a cup of tea on her head, but we're cool with that :)

So, now that you've all seen the playmat, you're probably wondering how to unlock it. It's pretty simple: if you click "like" on this update, it means that you'd be interested in adding on to your pledge for one. It's not a binding vote, but we'd appreciate it if only folks who are serious about adding one like the update :)

Campaign Sheets

In addition to Story Mode, ODD: Forest of Shadows will come with a pad of Campaign Sheets for advancing your characters:

 The basic talent group remains the same. The three trees beneath are new! The intent is that you can use both sheets for one character, with six available talent groups to choose from.
